Do you love an Indian meal? We certainly do! We are really lucky to have some great places to eat just on our doorstep. The Bengal has been a local favourite for many years, serving a range of classic Indian dishes. It’s no surprise The Bengal is the village’s best-rated restaurant on Trip Advisor!
The Bengal caters for everyone, with the menu ranging from mild sweet kormas and perfectly crispy onion bhajis to the try-if-you-dare Naga or Inferno! Vegetarians and vegans are also will also find many options available – and the restaurant is always happy to clarify any queries about ingredients.
On our last visit we indulged in a lamb biriani (can never quite resist it!), perfectly spiced rice with tender lamb and a highly satisfying chicken jalfrezi. With an array of vegetable side dishes, all beautifully cooked.
The Bengal are happy to deliver to the campsite, so if you’d like an Indian feast straight to your pitch then give them a call. Should you fancy a night out during your stay the restaurant is within easy walking distance, or take advantage of the free local evening parking. Perhaps a night off from campfire cooking, or a great way to celebrate a special occasion on your holiday.
We have menus in the campsite shop, but if you’d like to set your tastebuds tingling before you arrive take a look.
