Wickham Market is a picturesque village with a surprising array of amenities. If you fancy venturing out from The Orchard there is much on our doorstep, just a short walk away.

Campsite Shop

We have a great stock of essentials and treats, from great local bacon and sausage rolls to toys and gifts, and a large array of beers, ciders and wine all in our campsite shop, so do check in to see what we have.

The Flaming Fryer

The Flaming Fryer is an ideal choice if you fancy a night off from cooking! Can’t go wrong with fish, chips and mushy peas. Either eat in the restaurant or take back to the site and enjoy at your pitch.

The Bengal

The Bengal, with its well deserved excellent Trip Advisor rating, serves up traditional Indian food. A great selection of dishes available to take away or eat in their cosy restaurant.

The New Peach Bower

If Chinese is more your thing The New Peach Bower in the village will scratch that itch! Friendly staff will take good care of you in the restaurant or grab a takeaway to eat back at the site.

Teapot Tearoom and Cafe Fortysix

Both ideal spots for a refreshing cuppa and a slice of home made cake while watching village life.

Park

Sometimes you just need a slide. Especially if you are only three. Although there is much here for both little and big kids! A great park, with a well equipped children’s play area, zip line, basketball court and skate ramps!

Oliver’s Playbarn

Another great spot for really little people, Oliver’s Playbarn has a small softplay area and cosy cafe. Handy spot for a rainy day.

On the rare occasion you might need something we don’t stock in our onsite shop. Always worth popping in to us – whether you’ve run out of baby wipes or fancy a cheeky bottle of fizz, we’ve got you covered for almost all emergencies 😉 And for everything else a quick trip into the village should see you sorted!
