Following the success of our previous Home Ed CampOuts, we are delighted to announce we will be holding another one 12th – 16th June 2025!
Please note this is a casual event with no set activities, however, equipment for games like rounders, and nature sheets will be available.
This is a great chance to meet up with others in the Home Educating community.
- Location- The Orchard Campsite, Wickham Market – 20 minutes from Ipswich
- Book a 1, 2, 3 or 4-night stay
- Caravans, motor homes, trailer tents, camper vans and tents are all welcome
- Please note – electric pitches are all sold out
- Site has new washroom and washing facilities – including a new washing machine and tumble dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle, USB charging points and more!
- Thursday 12th – Monday 16th June 2025
- Pond and river onsite for pond dipping, fishing, and nature studies
- Friday night communal campfire! Got to know each other while chatting around the fire
- Saturday night glowstick frenzy!
- Sunday say time activity TBC – watch this space
- Campfires and BBQs allowed (firewood must be purchased on-site)
- Dogs on leads allowed
- Bikes and scooters allowed
- For children of all ages
- No refunds or transfers to other dates, although you may resell your space if you need to
- Parents and carers are responsible for children on-site at all times
