A typical cruise will take you from the tranquillity of Suffolk Yacht Harbour at Levington to the main artery of British commerce, the Port of Felixstowe, where you will witness the giants of the ocean at rest as their cargos are manipulated by an array of enormous cranes.
A trip along the Stour estuary will expose the architectural symmetry of The Royal Hospital School at Holbrook and the surviving masts of HMS Ganges – the former naval training college at Shotley.
Cruise the River Orwell towards the County town of Ipswich and discover the former smugglers’ haven of Pin Mill, the curious Freston Tower and the 18th Century Orwell Park House, before passing under the A14 as it crosses the Orwell Bridge and heading past the historic Port of Ipswich and into the marina via the automated lock gates.
