At The Orchard we try to provide a warm, friendly environment in which you can enjoy your time away from it all. Our facilities are designed to be family friendly but not overly lavish. Experience the joys of the great outdoors with the basic comforts of home!

Shower Block

Purpose built shower and toilet block. Automatic light switches in cubicles - Mirrors, shaving points, hairdryer point. Separate male and female wash rooms and family bathroom and 100% more washing up sinks, new fridge and freezer facilities - and all still free of charge

Play Area

The Orchard welcomes families and provides a wealth of adventures for the explorer.  In addition to natural features, we have a safe play area within the garden.

Fire Wood

We provide seasoned timber and kiln dried kindling for crackling camp fires - by the barrow load (additional cost)

Barbecue Area

A landscaped barbeque area with covered table tennis. Also Kitchen with hot water, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, washing Machine, tumble dryer.

Campsite Shop

A new and extended retail space with the same low prices – Off Licence now on site - fresh hand carved top rump steaks – 340g still just £3.00 – daily deliveries of fresh croissant and bread from a local artisan baker, a superb range of Suffolk produced jams, pickles, sauces, drinks and fresh meats - all our prices are low and often lower than the big supermarkets.

Fishing

In addition to free fishing in the river Deben (rod licence required), day fishing is available in the campsite fishing pond- Carp, Roach, Tench and Bream. Day fishing in camp site pond is also free of charge.
